Dr. Sandra Fleming has over eighteen years experience in medicine and women’s health. Her goal is to provide women a safe and comfortable place to obtain their complete gynecologic care, utilizing the most up to date literature and medical practice guidelines. She specializes in all forms of female health care, including complete well-woman exams, medical screenings, recommended vaccines, contraception and issues such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis. She is also a certified menopause practitioner and specializes in relieving symptoms of menopause. There is a tremendous need for menopause practitioners given that 3 out of 4 women who seek help for relief of menopause symptoms do not receive it. Dr. Fleming is hoping to change that.

My Journey

After a successful career as a Financial Analyst, I realized I wanted to contribute to something greater. My passion was (and remains) medicine and health, so, I cashed out my 401K, took out loans, and with the support of my husband, returned to school and earned my medical degree. I started this journey with a 3-month-old daughter and had my son in my fourth year of medical school. In 1998, my second medical rotation was Obstetrics and Gynecology and I knew within a week that this was to be my passion. Today, I remain focused on the health, wellness and overall gynecological care of my patients and continue to love it as much as I did that first week in 1998.
